Hi, I’m Lailah.

I have recently been admitted to the legal profession after studying a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. I began working in law in 2020, and after working in reception at a multi-discipline firm, I took an interest in family law. I started my family law journey at BWB in 2021, and am grateful to have re-joined the team in 2025 as a Law Clerk and more recently promoted to Graduate Solicitor to continue my career in family law.

What is your favourite part of your job?

Getting to work with the entire BWB team and helping people and families navigate the complexities of the legal system. Family law is also such a unique area in that it can be very emotional, compared to other areas of law. Being able to walk alongside people during these emotional times, and helping them through it, makes the hard work it worth it.
