I’m a Brisbane Family Law Lawyer at Best Wilson Buckley

 

I have been working in family law for many years and have a genuine passion for helping people. It was important to me to work in an area of law that focuses on clients—their lives, their families, and their stories.

 

I enjoy assisting clients to navigate the legal system during what can often be a challenging and emotional time. Family law is constantly evolving, and I believe it’s essential that clients receive current and practical legal advice. I see my role as empowering clients with the information and knowledge they need to make the right decisions for their family.

 

Background

Whilst studying law in Armidale, NSW, I volunteered at a local community legal service and spent my university holidays working with a sole practitioner in Sydney.

 

After completing my law degree, I moved to Brisbane and was admitted as a lawyer. Over the following nine years, I worked in private practice across a range of areas including family law, property law, wills and estates, and elder law—though family law has always been my passion.

 

Before joining Best Wilson Buckley Family Law, I worked at a community legal centre, providing advice in the areas of domestic and family violence, family law, child protection, and the protection of counselling records for victims of sexual assault.
